When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.

The Bay Area League of Extraordinary Lions are a local specialty club focusing on supporting our differently-abled neighbors in fulfilling their lives. Our members are made up of individuals with special needs or physical disabilities and the individuals that support us. We hope to be an outreach for others by providing resources, direct support and events where our differences are celebrated. Our club hopes to build an inclusive community where everyone celebrates the extraordinary gifts and talents that we all have. Despite what others classify us as we believe no one is truly disabled but differently-abled and we prove that every day by overcoming whatever challenges that face us.

The Bay Area League of Extraordinary Lions are proud members of the Lions of Texas Multiple District 2-S4 and our members come from all over the Upper Gulf Coast of Texas. We currently support the communities in Galveston County, Harris County, Brazoria County and Fort Bend County.

Humanitarian Support
The Lions Clubs International Foundation mission is to support the efforts of Lions clubs and partners in serving communities locally and globally, giving hope and impacting lives through humanitarian service projects and grants.

Seeing Eye Dogs
Leader Dog trains seeing eye dogs to provide the freedom of movement taken for granted by the majority of the population. Every person deserves equal opportunity for independent travel. They are the answer for thousands of people in critical need of sight and human connectivity throughout North America.
